ART Welcomes New and Returning Board Members
Adirondack Regional Theatre (ART) is proud to announce its new and returning board members, who bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and leadership to guide the organization into its 25th anniversary year and beyond. These individuals will support ART’s mission to provide quality theatre opportunities in the North Country, fostering community connection and artistic expression.
Executive Leadership
- LeAnn Yelton has been named Vice President. With extensive experience as ART's Secretary, costume designer, director, and actor, Yelton aims to expand ART's reach while ensuring sustainability. She also brings leadership experience from boards such as the Clinton Community College Board of Trustees and Champlain Valley Voices. “I believe in ART’s mission and want to help our organization grow while ensuring we stay sustainable and prosperous,” Yelton shares.
- Rachael Bruce joins as Communications Secretary. With a background in childcare and a passion for creative expression, Bruce aims to connect new audiences to ART and support the organization’s growth. “Helping others discover ART and facilitating their self-expression through theatre is incredibly rewarding to me,” Bruce says.
At-Large Members
- Dana Berry, former ART President and active in the organization for over 12 years, returns as a two-year at-large member. Berry plans to focus on behind-the-scenes operations and programming to support directors, actors, and volunteers.
- Sara Munson, a current at-large member and SUNY Plattsburgh staff member, has been involved in local community theatre for over a decade. Munson is committed to fostering inclusive, innovative programming while emphasizing sustainability and active membership.
- Sara King, with extensive experience in marketing and event planning, continues as an at-large member. King’s leadership at Chick-fil-A Plattsburgh highlights her ability to coordinate teams and execute creative strategies.
- Mark Preston, a leader with experience in nonprofit boards and community organizing, joins as an at-large member. Preston has served with organizations such as the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Plattsburgh and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
- Ely Giroux, a board member for Cornell Cooperative Extension and a manager at Chazy Orchards, brings expertise in budgeting, youth programming, and agricultural outreach to her role.
- Jordon LeBlanc, an advocate for accessibility and organizational leadership, joins ART’s board. With experience supporting volunteers and community programs, LeBlanc is dedicated to fostering inclusivity.
- Ben Cepulo, an experienced theatre professional and former college drama club president, aims to bring collaborative and innovative ideas to ART.
- Mason Barber, a longtime ART participant as a performer, director, and membership chair, steps into a three-year at-large role. Barber’s focus is on securing a permanent home for ART to support its future growth.
ART’s board remains committed to fostering excellence in community theatre, supporting its members, and offering enriching opportunities to the North Country. With this passionate team of leaders, ART is excited to navigate the next chapter of its journey.
