Plattsburgh-Based Chimera Integrations Receives National Recognition as North America’s Integrator of the Year
Plattsburgh’s own Chimera Integrations, a security systems integrator with deep local roots, is proud to announce it has received national recognition as SDM’s 2024 Systems Integrator of the Year. This prestigious award, the highest honor in the security integration industry, highlights Chimera’s excellence in technological innovation and community engagement, solidifying its reputation as North America's top integrator.Chimera’s success story is rooted in Plattsburgh, where the company has become a critical player in advancing local security infrastructure. One of the company’s standout achievements was being the first in the country to implement 911 Camera Sharing technology, which Chimera introduced right here in Plattsburgh. First installed at the Plattsburgh YMCA, this innovative system allows emergency responders to access real-time video footage during 911 calls, significantly improving response times and enhancing public safety in the community. “Our work in Plattsburgh is a testament to how innovative technology can make a real difference in local communities,” said Sadie Stiles, Marketing Director of Chimera Integrations. “We’re incredibly proud that the first implementation of this technology in the entire country happened right here in Plattsburgh. It shows that even smaller communities can lead the way in innovation.”
