Employment Law Update: American Rescue Plan Act 2021

On March 11th, the President signed into law the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) - a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus bill that includes several employment-law provisions that impact workplaces both small and large.
 
On April 15th at 1pm, join Jaci Kelleher, Esq. of Stafford Owens Law Firm for a webinar that will cover: 
  • New and updated employment-law provisions in the law
  • Changes to the Federal COVID-19 paid leave program (FFCRA) including expanded qualifying reasons for leave, extension of tax credit for employers, and more
  • Subsidies for continuation of COBRA coverage
  • Date: April 15, 2021

Presenter: Jaci Kelleher, ESQ, Stafford Owens

Jacqueline Kelleher began at Stafford Owens in 2000. Ms. Kelleher advises businesses, not-for-profits, and public entities on various legal matters, focusing on labor and employment matters, contracts, litigation and risk management. She frequently advises clients regarding labor relations and collective bargaining, executive compensation, hiring and separation, workplace investigations and related areas.

She is the District Attorney for a number of local school Districts, advising on a wide range of issues.

Ms. Kelleher has a broad legal background representing a range of clients in mediation, arbitration, and before regulatory agencies and state and federal courts.

She is dedicated to her community and says she was delighted to have an opportunity to become part of the social and business fabric of the North Country, partly through her service to not-for-profits.
