OSHA Recordkeeping

The purpose of the recordkeeping is to capture work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses using the OSHA 300 Log.  This training will help supervisors and employees understand how to comply with the recordkeeping requirements as well as identify and address repetitive hazards situations.

Training includes:

  • Shows employees actual workplace incidents, demonstrating how to report accidents and what information they need to furnish in the event of an incident
  • Covers why recordkeeping is important, and what recordkeeping is used for
  • Helps you determine which illnesses and injuries are “work-related”
  • Details the procedures for completing OSHA Forms 300, 300A and 301

Instructor: Ed Jerome, Catamount Consulting

Ed Jerome has a career that spans over 35 years in the occupational safety and health profession.  Ed served as the Chief of Safety, Health and Emergency Management for the US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Washington, DC. Ed also has extensive experience with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Over his 33 year career at OSHA, he worked in a number management and technical positions including as Area Director for OSHA’s Albany Area Office.
