2015 ushered in a number of important developments in labor and employment law, and 2016 is expected to deliver more of the same.  Jacqueline Kelleher, Esq. will discuss changes to labor and employment laws in 2015 which affect employers in New York, and discuss changes that are expected in 2016.

Ms. Kelleher is a member of Stafford, Owens, Piller, Murnane, Kelleher & Trombley, PLLC who advises businesses, not for profit and public entities on various legal matters including labor and employment matters, contracts and litigation. Ms. Kelleher advises clients regarding state and federal employment law, public employment, labor relations and collective bargaining, hiring, separation and many other areas of employment law. She is the attorney for a number of local school Districts, advising on a wide range of issues.

Ms. Kelleher has a broad legal background in business, labor and employment issues and has represented a diverse range of clients before regulatory agencies and state and federal courts.

Ms. Kelleher frequently provides training on legal issues relating to employment including leave time, wage and hour issues, employee performance and discipline, state and federal laws and other related matters. She is a columnist with STRICTLY BUSINESS, writing about current legal issues.
