OSHA has a new list of industries that must now keep and maintain the OSHA records if they have more than 10 employees. These industries were not required to keep OSHA injury and illness records before, but have to begin doing so as other employers must do beginning 01/01/15.

Ed Jerome has a career that spans over 35 years in the occupational safety and health profession. Ed served as the Chief of Safety, Health and Emergency Management for the US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Washington, DC. At BLM, Ed was responsible for planning, developing and administering a comprehensive national program that supported the unique natural resource mission for this agency of over 10,000 employees. Ed also has extensive experience with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Over his 33 year career at OSHA, he worked in a number management and technical positions including as Area Director for OSHA’s Albany Area Office. Ed is a certified industrial hygienist and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health Science from Hunter College, City University of New York. Ed holds professional memberships in AIHA and ASSE. In 2015, Ed joined InPhinite Potential, a consulting firm providing expertise in safety, industrial hygiene, human resources and leadership development.
