Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA)

The U.S. Department of Labor has issued new regulations for the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) which are causing sweeping changes to who will qualify as an exempt employee and who will need to be paid overtime. By raising the salary threshold for white-collar salaried workers to $47,476.00 per year, more than 4.2 million salaried workers will get overtime or see a raise in their salary above that threshold.
