Exploring New Markets & Supply Chain Technologies

Innovations in technology are rapidly changing the way businesses manage their supply chains, and logistics aren’t just about the parts used to manufacture a product anymore. Join us for a look at how today’s companies are utilizing new methods to coordinate the flow of goods, people and services domestically and around the globe.

Our keynote speaker, Vincent Dugré, will present information about using Smart Specialization to sell your product in new markets and new industries. Vincent has 20 years of experience in international trade management, and cluster development.

Melanie Lussier, Senior Director, Market Development - SME/Supply Chain, Aero Montreal and Garry Douglas, President & CEO, North Country Chamber of Commerce will speak about Aero Montreal/NAmTrans Partnership and Trends in Aerospace Logistics. This will include an overview of Aero Montreal and the Aerospace Cluster, Trends in Aerospace Supply Chain and Logistics, the Aero Montreal/NAmTrans Agreement, and opportunities for future partnership

They’ll be joined by Kathryn Bamberger of Empire State Development, who will share information on New York State’s programs for export assistance. The program will also include a roundtable discussion about local supply chain issues including workforce and supply chain development.

The Summit will be held on June 8th from 8:30 a.m.-noon at the Plattsburgh State University Field House. Cost to attend is $60 per person. Sponsors include The Development Corporation, CDC Real Estate & Immigration, Senator Betty Little, and Burnham Benefits Advisors.
